Press Release: Puma Mobium 1.6km Challenge

Global sportlifestyle brand PUMA has launched the pop-up Mobium Lab and the Mobium 1.6km Challenge from 18 April to 19 May, giving runners the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to take part in PUMA Night Run in Korea, together with a tailored lead-up training programme with Team RunFanatics, PUMA and Maxinutrition Vouchers, and Celebrity Fitness gym memberships!

FLY Entertainment Artistes George Young and Bobby Tonelli, Celebrity Personal Trainer Chris Cheng, National Swimmer & Model Nick Tan, Team RunFanatics Head Coach & Maxinutrition Ambassador Shanmugam.B, Fitness & Motorsports Personality Claire-Louise Jedrek and fitness instructors from Celebrity Fitness attended the media launch of the PUMA Mobium Lab at Marina Bayfront Wilson Carpark on 18 April. They were among the first to take part in the Celebrity Edition of the 1.6k Challenge, with Coach Sham emerging with the best efficiency score of 23.49.



PUMA launches a new-to-market category of performance running—Adaptive Running™—with the introduction of the Mobium Elite shoe – a performance trainer that expands and contracts as the foot moves. Rooted in anatomy and inspired by nature, PUMA Mobium Elite is the product of two years intense design and development based on how the foot moves.  Considering that the foot expands in three directions, longitudinally, laterally and vertically, PUMA’s innovative footwear adapts with the body in motion, encouraging a more natural and efficient mid-foot strike. In conjunction with the launch of Mobium Elite, PUMA introduces the Mobium Lab from 18 April to 18 May – a pop-up in-store lab and travelling mobile lab where customers get to try out the Mobium Elite for themselves at various locations island-wide, and take part in the Mobium 1.6km Challenge.



Be the most efficient male or female runner in Singapore over 1.6km – measured by a combination of age, average heart rate and timing – to win the following prizes each:

  • ·         Race Entry to a PUMA Night Race in Korea in September
  • ·         Round-trip airfare to Korea
  • ·         3 days/2 nights’ accommodation, meals and transport provided
  • ·         $800 PUMA credits to kit yourself up
