The 10th running J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge has become a sold-out tradition in Singapore’s corporate community

This year’s 5.6km team road race will be held on Thursday, 18 April with a 5:30 p.m. race start on the Esplanade Bridge and a festive post-race party in the F1 Pit Building area. And, if past years are any indication, now is the time to organize your company’s team and enter.

Last year’s race attracted a sold-out crowd of 14,555 participants from 377 companies, the largest in the history of the Singapore Corporate Challenge. The record turnout not only was a 10-percent increase over the previously largest gathering in 2011, but it marked the eighth straight year the Corporate Challenge has reached capacity in Singapore since its debut in 2004 with 6,766 participants.

It is anticipated that full capacity will be reached again this year and registration will close when that capacity is reached. So, please do not delay in beginning your company registration to insure you and your colleagues have a spot on the starting line.

The entry fee for this year’s race is  per entrant and the JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation on behalf of the race to worthy not-for-profit organizations that will be announced prior to event night.

All entries must be part of a corporate team, with each team needing to register a minimSGD60um of four employees. There is no limit to the number of employees that can be on a company team, and the 2012 Corporate Challenge in Singapore hosted 32 companies that fielded 100 or more entries on their teams.
As in past years, the winners of the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed divisions will earn an invitation to the 2014 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship, which will take place next year on a date and location to be determined. The 2012 team champions in Singapore were Raffles Institution (men), Barclays (women) and Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) (mixed). They have been invited to compete at the 2013 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship in Rochester, New York on Tuesday, May 21.
