The most anticipated race of 2012, the Nike We Run SG is set to be held on the morning of Oct 21, it starts at the Esplanade Bridge and ends at the Waterfront Promenade @ Marina Bay.

Last year saw All 12,000 available slots from Nike WE RUN SG 10K were snapped up in two days. Which is a record breaking sell-out for the Nike’s fourth 10K race in Singapore since the first Human Race in 2008. This year, we are sure to see similar overwhelming record sign ups as of previous years, so be prepare for delay or minor setback when registering online.
The Nike We Run SG is Singapore’s only race that incorporates music on the route, with different music zones and entertainment along the race route that will bring participants acrossed Singapore’s skyline, passing iconic architecture such as the Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, The Sail and Marina Bay Financial Centre.
Registration cost however for participant above 25 years old had been increase from $40 to $45, but this should not be a huge issue for Runners who had been waiting for months to take part in the Nike We Run Singapore Race 2012
The Singapore leg of We Run is part of the global We Run race movement, which starts in Prague 1st September and ends in Rio de Janeiro on Dec 15.
The global We Run movement will see 395,500 runners from 32 cities participating.
395 5000 runners worldwide spanning 34 cities including Mexico, Hungary, Brazil, Singapore, UK and Moscow — amongst others — to rack-up a global goal of 371 kilometre
