Nike Innovation Space @ Peranakan Place #GameOnWorld #SG Flyknit + LunarGlide+ 4

Nike had recently launch their Nike Running fall season 2012 line (FA’12). Among that was release was Nike’s running shoe the LunarGlide+ 4, which promises to provide a dynamic support and added stability for the runner.


The LunarGlide+4 is design to reduces pronation, which is excellent for over pronators and it incorporates a soft underfoot feel that will improved transition and ride, this technology is similar to recent LunarEclipse+2 which makes use of the dynamic Lunarlon sole which dynamic changes itself to support the different pronator be it under or over pronator.

The LunarGlide+4 is equipped with Nike’s latest Flywire technology that envelopes the top of the foot, ensuring comfort and a customised fit, a complete makeover as compared to its predecessor the LunarGlide+3. The Flywire tighten and loosen itself as the runner move ensuring optimum support on the forefoot and ensuring that the laces are never too tight, this providing a more secure and comfortable fit.


The LunarGlide+ 4 comes with 9 Different colorway, 4 for men’s, 4 for women’s and the other is a limited edition exclusive unisex color.



the LunarGlide+ 4 was not the only exciting product launched, another exciting launch was the Nike+ SportWatch GPS. Combining Nike’s understanding research of the athlete with the GPS expertise of TomTom, Nike+ SportWatch GPS is a game changer for runners. Designed to be simple and intuitive, the Nike+ SportWatch GPS powered by TomTom uses both GPS technology and the Nike+ shoe sensor to capture every step of a run. Runners can then upload their run data to the Nikeplus.com website, where new mapping features allow them to see where they ran and discover great new routes, track their goals, receive coaching tips, challenge their friends, share their progress through Facebook and Twitter.


From the 20 July to 12 August Nike is had also set up the Nike Innovation Space @ Peranakan Place which is located in the heart of orchard road to showcase of some key innovations of Nike this Fall 2012 . Nike have several pair of the the Nike LunarGlide+4 to try out and take them out for a run.

Nike have also started the Run To Give challenge for a good cause! Nike will donate a brand new pair of Nike running shoes to the underprivillage youth of AG Home for every 20km sync with the Nike+ between 20.07.2012 to 12.08.2012, simply share your runs on twitter or facebook by tagging #GameOnWorld #SG So sync up and make every KM Count.

Nike Innovation Space @ Peranakan Place also showcases the Nike Cortez 40/40 whereby The designs display were created by 40 artists, athletes and personalities from around Southeast Asia to celebrate the Cortez. It’s unique to this region and nowhere else in the world was this design activity ever been done before.


The Nike+ sport watch along with the rest of the Nike+ family was also on display, Nike+ sportsband, Nike+ iPod and the Nike+ Running GPS app for use with Android & iPhone Smartphones which can now be downloaded for free at the app store.

The Nike Flyknit was also on display, the Flyknit is Nike new running shoe which is constructed by knitting together a single strain of thread, it is Nike lightest running shoe ever.

The Nike Flyknit will be on sale at the Nike Innovation Space @ Peranakan Place on 02.08.2012, Here’s the catch – There will only be 32 pair of them available in Singapore, so mark the date and be the lucky 32 to purchase this limited edition lightweight running shoe.
