Review: Columbia Omni-Freeze Ice Launch at Celebrity Fitness Singapore DowntownEast

In conjunction with the launch of Columbia’s latest range of evolutionary fabric Omni-Freeze ZERO, we were invited to attend a one-of-a-kind indoor Triathlon session conducted by Celebrity Fitness Singapore at Downtown East.

Columbia is announcing the Omni-Freeze ICE a range of sports wear that cools you down as you sweat. Unlike typical garments, that wick the sweat away from you, the Omni-Freeze ICE puts your sweat to good use, thus it’s cooler to put it on than taking your it off entirely.

The Omni-Freeze ICE™ is fused into the revolutionary fabric and is activated by contact with the moisture from your sweat. When moisture hits the fabric’s surface, the temperature of the fabric lowers. The result is an immediate cooling sensation that’s optimal for aerobic activity in the heat.

Celebrity Fitness Singapore Downtown East hosted members of the local and regional media to a series of classes so that they could experience the benefits of wearing Columbia’s Body Layer Omni-Freeze Ice apparel while exercising.

In Peloton cycling participants control their own resistance on their bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as they choose base on the tempo of the music that is being played. Despite being in an air-conditional room, In less than a few minutes into the session, everyone of the participant started to drench in their own sweat and this was a good thing as the participant was able to get a first hand experience on how the Omni-Freeze Ice Fabric work. Immediately one feels the cooling sensation as sweat react with the fabric. The Session was all cardio and stamina.

We were still not done yet as we decided to run another 5km outdoor to see if the fabric will work the same way as how we had experience in the fitness center. As it was already around late afternoon when the event ended it was a good timing and opportunity for us to start running outside, as the temperature is warm.

We were amazed at how cooling the fabric feels as soaks up the sweat and activates the cooling technology that lower the temperature of the fabric, so it feels cool to the touch, and so you stay extra comfortable in hot conditions. In another words, the more humid it is and the more you perspire, the cooler you will get.

This revolutionary fabric is perfect for anyone who embraces an active lifestyle, be it for aesthetic or health reasons. The Omni-Freeze Ice is suitable for use when cycling on the open roads, trail running on different terrains or hitting the weights in the gym.

Add some cool to your workout with the new Columbia Omni-Freeze ICE!

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book
in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit,
but other than that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent
read. I will definitely be back.
