With this in mind, Adidas recently lauch their new Adidas adiZero Feather running shoe is for the very efficient runner within the 3:00-6:00 minute per kilometer pace with a Coolever mesh upper is designed to capitalize on maintaining the coolness of the foot during high speeds.Weighing only 190g (men’s, size UK 8.5) and 160g (women’s, size UK 5.5) respectively, the adiZero Feather offers the everyday runner the technology and performance benefits of the adiZero Prime, the lightweight sprint spike (99 grams, men’s, size UK 8.5) which was worn exclusively by adidas athlete Jessica Ennis at the 2011 IAAF Track & Field World Championships last August in Daegu, Korea.

The adizero Feather comes in an eye-catching infrared color way and provides the latest adidas technologies.

The upper of the shoe uses Adidas’ The lightweight shoe features the new SPRINTFRAME a lightweight mesh construction achieved through strong seamlessly bonded TPU material for maximum comfort, it support and provide a breathability platform directly attached to the upper which ensures optimum forefoot propulsion. This replaces the conventional (more heavy weight) shoe construction and saves shoe weight significantly while maintaining important performance characteristics such as comfort and energy transfer.  Lateral cut-away of the midsole helps maximize weight reduction while providing biomechanically correct support during faster gait cycles.

The Feathers have a bouncy, comfy, cushiony midsole that’s perfectly shock absorbent. You won’t notice the unevenness of city streets and they’re a dream on treadmills.

Other technological features are Full forefoot adiPRENE® adds maximum cushion with racer-like feel. Engineered forefoot rubber gives maximum durability and cushioning in the high-wear the adiWEAR rubber outsole which ensures long lasting durability and traction, and strategic foam placement on the sole which allows for a dynamic push-off while minimizing the overall shoe weight
